Happiness, Health, Wisdom and Wealth

"The Owner's Manual for Your Life"

Health

Health is the second most important thing in your life. Our definition of health is: "Health - a state of being measuring the overall ability of the body to react favorably to stresses placed upon it." Health is not about what happens to your body but how your body reacts to what happens to it.

What makes health the second most important thing in your life? You've probably heard the old saying, "If you've got your health you've got just about everything." They got it right. Research tells us that next to happiness, health is the greatest determiner of quality of life. Health determines much of what you can and cannot do. It determines much of how you feel. Better health means a better life.

Being healthly doesn't mean you never get sick; being healthy means that your body can deal with sickness. To a healthy person a cold is a minor annoyance. To an unhealthy person it can be life threatening.

Everyone can be healthy. You control your diet. You control your exercise. You control the conditions that create wellness.
